Our experience with Grauer Real Estate, and especially our Realtor Jennifer Grauer, was nothing
but positive from day one. Our goal was to sell our ranch-style house and move into a townhome, and
having lived in our home for 27 years made it a necessity to have a Realtor that was up beat and
positive as we were unsure from day one that we were doing the right thing.
Jennifer started by discussing what we needed to do to stage our house. She told us up-front that it
would require some effort on our part to make the house as presentable as possible, and we were
willing to take on the task. Then she provided us with comparable sales and listings in our area of
Aurora. She next came up with a list of townhomes and we started pre-looking before actually listing
our home. When we made the decision that there were townhomes that fit our needs and decided to
list our house, Jennifer went through the rooms and helped us stage it by removing certain items and
rearranging others. Jennifer has an eye for style. She apparently did such a marvelous job of making
our home sellable that two days after listing, we got an offer that we accepted.
Next the pressure was on Jennifer to help us narrow down a list of probable townhomes and finally
helped us negotiate the best possible price. The time from listing our house to closing on two
properties in one day to moving into our new townhome was less than five weeks. Now that’s
minimizing stress!
Thanks to Jennifer Grauer, we now own a beautiful three bedroom, two bath ranch-style townhome
with beautifully updated kitchen, baths, and carpeting. It has a fourth bedroom in a mostly unfinished
basement that provides pretty much an open canvas to add a third bathroom, and rec room or home
theater.
